Data stored in your browser
WLED Pixel Studio runs in your browser. Your device configurations and pixel designs are stored exclusively in your browser's local storage on your own device. This data is never transmitted to or stored on our servers, and you can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
No account, no tracking
There is no login or user account. We do not use analytics, tracking cookies, advertising, or third-party tracking of any kind. Only cookies or storage that are strictly necessary for the application to function are used.
Communication with your WLED devices
When you control a device, the application connects directly from your browser to the WLED device on your local network over HTTP and WebSocket. That traffic stays within your own network and is not routed through or logged by our servers.
Hosting and server logs
This website is hosted by netcup GmbH, Germany. For the secure and reliable operation of the service, the hosting provider automatically records standard server access logs, which may include your IP address, the date and time of access, the requested URL, and browser information. This processing is based on our legitimate interest in operating the service securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Your rights

Because the data you create in the app is stored only in your browser, you can exercise most of these rights yourself by clearing your browser's site data.
